Colin Dow (Ottawa, ON) won 7-3 over Ontario's Pat Ferris in the Final of the Glendale Cash Spiel, held November 25 - 27, 2016 in Hamilton, Ontario. To advance to the championship game, Dow won 6-5 over Northern Ontario's Chris Glibota in the semifinals of the Glendale Cash Spiel in Hamilton, Ontario;

Dow finished 2-0 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Dow defeated Darryl Prebble (Toronto, ON) 5-4, then won 7-6 against Northern Ontario's Chris Glibota in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Glendale Cash Spiel Championship title, Dow earned 11.836 world rankings points along with the $2,000CDN first prize cheque, moving up 3 spots the World Ranking Standings into 54th place overall with 106.938 total points. Dow ranks 49th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 56.855 points earned so far this season.
