Korte won 7-3 against Hartung, then won 7-4 against SooHyuk Kim (Gangwon, KOR) and 6-5 against Mick Lizmore (Calgary, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Korte earned 25.734 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Direct Horizontal Drilling Fall Classic, moving up 7 spots the World Ranking Standings into 34th place overall with 126.566 total points. Korte ranks 39th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 29.957 points earned so far this season.
