To advance to the championship game, Ontario's Danielle Inglis won 4-2 over Heather Heggestad (Thornhill, ON) in the semifinals of the 2016 Listowel Women's Classic in Listowel, Ontario, Canada; and won 5-3 over Ontario's Sherry Middaugh in the quarterfinals.

Ontario's Danielle Inglis finished 3-2 in the 14-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Ontario's Danielle Inglis defeated Brenda Holloway (Guelph, ON) 5-4, then went on to lose 6-3 against Megan Balsdon (Toronto, ON).
