Epping finished 4-0 in the 30-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Epping defeated Pat Ferris (Grimsby, ON) 7-2, then won 11-2 against Ontario's Ian Dickie and 7-1 against Chris Wimmer (Stroud, ON). Epping won 5-3 against Colin Dow (Ottawa, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the CookstownCash presented by Comco Canada Inc Championship title, Epping earned 42.548 world rankings points along with the $7,000CDN first prize cheque. For week 12 of the event schedule, Epping did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Epping ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
