Marc Pfister (Adelboden, SUI) qualified for the 2016 Huron ReproGraphics Oil Heritage Classic playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 5-3 against Todd Birr (Blaine, USA). of the 2016 Huron ReproGraphics Oil Heritage Classic in Sarnia, Ontario;

Pfister finished 3-2 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Pfister defeated Ontario's Ian Dickie 6-3, then won 7-3 against Richard Krell (Waterloo, ON). Pfister went on to lose 7-3 against Mark Bice (Sarnia, ON). Pfister lost 7-6 to Brent Ross (Harriston, ON) where Pfister responded with a 7-5 win over Brandon Corbett (Rochester, USA) in their final qualifying round match.

Pfister earned 14.043 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Huron ReproGraphics Oil Heritage Classic.
