Matsumura lost 7-6 to Kim Schneider (Kronau, SK) where Matsumura responded with a 7-5 win over Alberta's Karynn Flory. Matsumura went on to lose 8-4 against Alberta's Nadine Chyz in their final qualifying round match.

For week 15 of the event schedule, Matsumura did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
