To advance to the championship game, Saskatchewan's Sherry Anderson won 6-1 over Nancy Martin (Saskatoon, SK) in the semifinals of the 2016 Boundary Ford Curling Classic in Lloydminster, Alberta, Canada; and won 8-7 over Alberta's Nadine Chyz in the quarterfinals. of the 2016 Boundary Ford Curling Classic in Lloydminster, Alberta, Canada;
 
Saskatchewan's Sherry Anderson finished 4-1 in the 23-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Saskatchewan's Sherry Anderson defeated Ursi Hegner (Uzwil, SUI) 10-5, then won 9-5 against Eberle. Saskatchewan's Sherry Anderson went on to lose 9-4 against Robyn Silvernagle (North Battleford, SK). Saskatchewan's Sherry Anderson responded with a 8-1 win over Alberta's Holly Baird.
