Heidt won 7-2 against Kelly Marnoch (Carberry, MB). Heidt went on to lose 3-2 against Kody Hartung (Saskatoon , SK). Heidt responded with a 7-5 win over Jeff Hartung (Langenberg, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Heidt earned 10.913 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Estevan Curling Classic, moving up 33 spots the World Ranking Standings into 133rd place overall with 33.055 total points. Heidt ranks 96th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 23.060 points earned so far this season.
