In their opening game, Kleibrink defeated Nicole Backe (Nanaimo, BC) 6-5, then won 6-5 against Sarah Koltun (Whitehorse, YK) and 7-2 against Gushulak. Kleibrink went on to lose 4-2 against Marla Mallett (Walnut Grove, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
