To advance to the championship game, Sieg won 7-4 over Glen Jackson (Victoria, BC) in the semifinals of the 2017 King Cash Spiel in Maple Ridge, British Columbia, Canada; and won 6-5 over Jeff Guignard (Vancouver, BC) in the quarterfinals. of the 2017 King Cash Spiel in Maple Ridge, British Columbia, Canada;
 
Sieg are currently 2-2 in the 5-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Sieg lost 3-2 to Jackson, then responded with a 6-5 win over Guignard. Sieg won 5-3 against Jason Peckham (Abbotsford, BC). Sieg went on to lose 7-1 against Joanisse. In their next game, Sieg plays.
