Allen responded with a 10-0 win over Stephen Watson (Ottawa, ON). Allen went on to lose 7-4 against Ryan McCrady (Ottawa, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

Allen earned 0.411 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, moving up 65 spots the World Ranking Standings into 458th place overall with 0.411 total points. Allen ranks 167th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 0.411 points earned so far this season.
