Eve Muirhead (Perth, SCO) won 6-4 over Hannah Fleming (Lockerbie, SCO) in the Final of the Scottish Curling Championships, held February 18 - 25, 2017 in Perth, Scotland.
 
Muirhead finished 6-0 in the 7-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Muirhead defeated Gina Aitken (Edinburgh, SCO) 11-1, then won 9-4 against Fleming and 9-2 against Amy MacDonald (Inverness, SCO). Muirhead won 8-3 against Maggie Wilson (Aberdeen, SCO), then won 7-4 against Karina Aitken (Edinburgh, SCO) and 11-9 against Hazel Smith (Lanarkshire, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Scottish Curling Championships Championship title, Muirhead earned 22.145 world rankings points. For week 28 of the event schedule, Muirhead did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Muirhead ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
