Aitken won 9-3 against Hazel Smith (Lanarkshire, SCO). Aitken went on to lose 9-4 against Hannah Fleming (Lockerbie, SCO). Aitken lost 8-7 to Amy MacDonald (Inverness, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Aitken earned 1.582 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 28 of the event schedule, Aitken did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
