Brothers finished 4-1 in the 13-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Brothers defeated Emily Ball (Halifax, NS) 8-3, then won 8-6 against Mary Mattatall (Halifax, NS) and 9-1 against Isabelle Ladouceur (Lower Sackville, NS). Brothers went on to lose 7-4 against McEvoy. Brothers responded with a 6-1 win over Coralie Ayre (Sydney, NS) in their final qualifying round match.
