Craig finished 2-0 in the 13-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Craig defeated Joel Jordison (Moose Jaw, SK) 7-0, then won 4-1 against Scott Comfort (Wadena, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Heritage Inn SCT Spiel Championship title, Craig earned 10.575 world rankings points along with the $1,750CDN first prize cheque, moving up 95 spots the World Ranking Standings into 184th place overall with 17.781 total points. Craig ranks 143rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 10.575 points earned so far this season.
