Scott Webb (Peace River, AB) qualified for the 2016 Grande Prairie Cash Spiel playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 7-2 against Kurt Balderston (Grande Prairie, AB).

Webb finished 3-2 in the 14-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Webb defeated Glen Godberson (Fort St. John, BC) 8-5, then won 7-3 against Jeff Ginter (Dawson Creek, BC). Webb went on to lose 7-3 against Balderston. Webb lost 6-2 to Graham Powell (Grande Prarie, AB) where Webb responded with a 6-2 win over Stefan Pavlis (Dawson Creek, BC) in their final qualifying round match.

Webb earned 4.482 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Grande Prairie Cash Spiel, moving up 84 spots the World Ranking Standings into 249th place overall with 8.109 total points. Webb ranks 177th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 4.482 points earned so far this season.
