Scoffin finished 3-1 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Scoffin defeated Colin Griffith (Grande Prairie, AB) 8-4, then won 7-5 against Kurt Balderston (Grande Prairie, AB) and 7-2 against Ginter. Scoffin went on to lose 6-3 against Cross in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Dawson Creek Cash Spiel Championship title, Scoffin earned 12.627 world rankings points along with the $2,500CDN first prize cheque, moving up 25 spots the World Ranking Standings into 103rd place overall with 46.669 total points. Scoffin ranks 79th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 30.288 points earned so far this season.
