Gim responded with a 7-4 win over Tori Koana (Yamanashi, JPN) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Hokkaido Bank Curling Classic, Gim take home 19.314 world rankings points along with the $3,220CDN prize. Gim gained 91.268 points improving upon their best events, though dropped 29 spots on the World Ranking Standings into 29thplace overall with 91.268 total points. Gim ranks 2nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 19.314 points earned so far this season.
