Dave Collyer (Belleville, ON) qualified for the 2016 Secker Ross & Perry Eastern Ontario Championship playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 7-2 against Dayna Deruelle (Brampton , ON). of the 2016 Secker Ross & Perry Eastern Ontario Championship in Kingston, Ontario;

Collyer finished 2-1 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Collyer defeated Eric Bradey (St. Catharines, ON) 7-4, then went on to lose 8-6 against Chris Gardner (Ottawa, ON). Collyer responded with a 9-1 win over Celeste Bellefeuille (Ottawa, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

Collyer earned 6.857 world rankings points for their Top 6 finish in the Secker Ross & Perry Eastern Ontario Championship, moving up 63 spots the World Ranking Standings into 212th place overall with 14.914 total points.
