In their opening game, Selzer defeated Kelsey Dutton (Swift Current, SK) 10-2, then went on to lose 9-6 against Brett Barber (Biggar, SK). Selzer responded with a 9-5 win over Alyssa Despins (Saskatoon, SK). Selzer won 7-5 against Dutton. Selzer went on to lose 6-5 against Barber in their final qualifying round match.

Selzer earned 1.125 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 17 of the event schedule, Selzer did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
