Tyler Tardi (Langley, BC) finished 3-0 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Tardi defeated Ron Leech (Maple Ridge, BC) 11-4, then won 7-3 against Andrew Bilesky (New Westminster, BC) and 4-1 against Stephen Schneider (New Westminster, BC) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the BC Men's - Lower Mainland Playdown Championship title, Tardi earned 9.555 world rankings points. For week 17 of the event schedule, Tardi did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Tardi ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
