Simard finished 2-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Simard defeated Taitan Hagglund (Edmonton, AB) 7-2, then won 7-6 against Kaileigh Morrison (Calgary, AB). Simard went on to lose 10-4 against DeJong in their final qualifying round match.
