Dang finished 4-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Dang defeated Cole Ector (Calgary, AB) 11-2, then won 11-3 against Tyler Mah (Calgary, AB). Dang went on to lose 7-4 against Jared Palanuik (Black Diamond, AB). Dang responded with a 8-3 win over Adams. Dang won 10-5 against Mah in their final qualifying round match.
