Kaileigh Morrison (Calgary, AB) won 6-3 over Jessica Wytrychowski (Calgary, AB) in the Final of the Ray Kingsmith Memorial Junior Womens Bonspiel, held December 28 - 30, 2016 in Calgary, Alberta. To advance to the championship game, Morrison won 5-4 over Eryn Love-Hollman (Red Deer, AB) in the semifinals
 
Morrison finished 3-0 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Morrison defeated Hollie Vincent (Red Deer, AB) 8-5, then won 8-4 against Subasthika Thangadrai (Cochrane, AB) and 7-1 against Wytrychowski in their final qualifying round match.
