Ballance finished 2-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Ballance lost 9-3 to Hannah Terry (Lethbridge, AB), then responded with a 12-3 win over Rory Leach (Calgary, AB). Ballance won 10-2 against Cole Ector (Calgary, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
