Catherine Wallis/Chris Liscumb (Ilderton, ON) run at the 2016 Listowel Mixed Doubles Spiel came to an end in the semifinals with a 8-0 loss to Katelyn Wasylkiw/Scott Brandon (Kitchener-Waterloo, ON). of the 2016 Listowel Mixed Doubles Spiel in Listowel, Ontario; Wallis/Liscumb advanced through the quarterfinals with a 7-6 win over Maureen Stolt/Peter Stolt (St. Paul, USA).
 
Wallis/Liscumb finished 3-2 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Wallis/Liscumb lost 8-3 to Megan Balsdon/Shane Latimer (London, ON), then responded with a 9-2 win over Sharon Pringle/Mike Cottrill (Wingham, ON). Wallis/Liscumb went on to lose 6-3 against Brianne Donegan/Sam Steep (Listowel, ON). Wallis/Liscumb responded with a 9-4 win over Hilary Nuhn/Andrew Baumann (Listowel, ON). Wallis/Liscumb won 6-5 against Becca Pickett/Sam Mooibroek (Brantford, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
