Kauste Runner-Up at 2016 CCT Tallinn Mixed Doubles International

Oona Kauste (Hyvinkaa, FIN) lost 5-4 to Kristin Moen Skaslien (Oslo, NOR) in the Final of the CCT Tallinn Mixed Doubles International, held September 22 - 25, 2016 in Tallinn, Estonia.

Kauste finished 3-2 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kauste lost 7-6 to Jelena Rudzite (Riga, LAT), then responded with a 11-5 win over Estonia's Erika Tuvike. Kauste won 9-6 against Sandrine Morand (Megeve, FRA). Kauste went on to lose 7-6 against Hungary's Ildiko Szekeres. Kauste responded with a 8-2 win over Kristiine Lill (Tallinn, EST) in their final qualifying round match.

. For week 6 of the event schedule, Kauste did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Kauste ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
