In their opening game, Bryzgalova/Krushelnitskiy defeated Ursi Hegner/Felix Attinger (Uzwil, SUI) 7-2, then won 10-5 against Veronika Neznalova/Matej Neznal (Prague, CZE). Bryzgalova/Krushelnitskiy went on to lose 7-5 against Marie Turmann/Harri Lill (Tallinn, EST). Bryzgalova/Krushelnitskiy responded with a 13-0 win over Andrea Fischer/Holger Langenau (Chemnitz, GER) in their final qualifying round match.
