7-4 to Michele Jaeggi/Mario Freiberger (Bern, SUI), droppimg another game, 10-6 to Hungary's Ildiko Szekeres/Gyeorgy Nagy where Regza/Freidensons responded with a 9-6 win over Lucrezia Laurenti/Marco Pascale (Cortina d'Ampezzo, ITA). Regza/Freidensons went on to lose 9-8 against Sabrina Clostre/Yannick Panzera (Champery, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.
