To advance to the championship game, Martin won 6-4 over Breanne Meakin (Regina, SK) in the semifinals   of the 2016 Regina Callie Rocktoberfest in Regina, Saskatchewan; and won 6-2 over Rae Ann Williamson (Regina, SK) in the quarterfinals.  of the 2016 Regina Callie Rocktoberfest in Regina, Saskatchewan; 
 
Martin finished 3-0 in the 14-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Martin defeated Kelsey Dutton (Swift Current, SK) 5-3, then won 4-3 against Mandy Selzer (Balgonie, SK) and 8-3 against Darlene Gillies (Regina, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Regina Callie Rocktoberfest, Martin take home 13.259 world rankings points along with the $1,600CDN prize, moving up 19 spots the World Ranking Standings into 92nd place overall with 32.134 total points. Martin ranks 64th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 19.893 points earned so far this season.
