Mary Mattatall (Halifax, NS) qualified for the 2016 Lady Monctonian Invitational Spiel playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 4-3 against Robyn MacPhee (Charlottetown, PEI). of the 2016 Lady Monctonian Invitational Spiel in Moncton, New Brunswick;

Mattatall responded with a 10-2 win over Tanya Phillips (Halifax, NS). Mattatall won 6-2 against Kristen MacDiarmid (Dartmouth, NS). Mattatall went on to lose 6-5 against Sarah Mallais (Saint John, NB) in their final qualifying round match.

Mattatall earned 9.332 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Lady Monctonian Invitational Spiel, moving up 3 spots the World Ranking Standings into 75th place overall with 53.606 total points.
