In their opening game, Hong Kong's Ling-Yue Hung lost 8-7 to Thivya Jeyaranjan (Naseby, NZL), droppimg another game, 14-3 to EunJung Kim (Uiseong, KOR). Hong Kong's Ling-Yue Hung lost 18-2 to Bingyu Wang (Harbin, CHN). Hong Kong's Ling-Yue Hung lost 15-3 to Satsuki Fujisawa (Hokkaido, JPN) where Hong Kong's Ling-Yue Hung responded with a 14-4 win over Mubarkah Al-Abdulla (Doha, QAT). Hong Kong's Ling-Yue Hung won 16-4 against Ramina Yunicheva (Almety, KAZ). Hong Kong's Ling-Yue Hung went on to lose 7-6 against Australia's Jennifer Westhagen in their final qualifying round match.
