To advance to the championship game, Christensen won 6-3 over Cora Farrell (Blaine, MN) in the semifinals of the 2018 USA Women's National Championship in Fargo, North Dakota;
 
Christensen finished 5-2 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Christensen defeated Kim Rhyme (Blaine, MN) 8-3, then won 6-3 against Emily Anderson (Broomall, PA) and 10-6 against Christine McMakin (St. Paul, MN). Christensen won 8-4 against Ann Podoll (Fargo, ND). Christensen went on to lose 7-3 against Farrell. Christensen lost 8-5 to Sinclair where Christensen responded with a 7-2 win over Beth Podoll (Fargo, ND) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the USA Women's National Championship, Christensen take home 14.735 world rankings points. Christensen move up 2 spots after posting a net gain of 13.611 points improving upon their best results so far this season, ranking 30th overall with 232.809 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Christensen ranks 23rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 137.663 points earned so far this season.
