In their opening game, Lewis lost 7-0 to Owen Purcell (Halifax, NS), droppimg another game, 5-3 to Adam Tracy (Saint John, NB) where Lewis responded with a 6-4 win over Liam Marin (Saint John, NB). Lewis went on to lose 9-7 against Graeme Weagle (Chester, NS). Lewis lost 9-5 to Peter Robichaud (Moncton, NB) where Lewis responded with a 10-8 win over Layton MacCabe (Moncton, NB) in their final qualifying round match.
