Timofeev won 8-6 against Rasmus Stjerne (Hvidovre, DEN), then won 8-6 against Tom Brewster (Aberdeen, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.

Timofeev earned 24.342 world rankings points for their Top 4 finish in the Le Gruyere European Curling Championships. For week 15 of the event schedule, Timofeev did not improve upon their best events, dropping from 108th to 112th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 42.211 total points. Timofeev ranks 168th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 9.572 points earned so far this season.
