Mallory Kean (Kitchener-Waterloo, ON) finished 3-2 in the 11-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kean defeated Michelle Fletcher (Burlington, ON) 11-8, then went on to lose 6-5 against Julie Tippin (Woodstock, ON). Kean responded with a 7-1 win over Hollie Nicol (Toronto, ON). Kean won 7-6 against Jennifer Spencer (Guelph, ON). Kean went on to lose 9-1 against Tippin in their final qualifying round match.
