In their opening game, Middaugh defeated Angie Melaney (Lindsay, ON) 7-2, then went on to lose 8-1 against Erin Macaulay (Ottawa, ON). Middaugh responded with a 8-3 win over Kristina Adams (Ennismore, ON). Middaugh went on to lose 9-5 against Susan Froud (Stroud, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

Middaugh earned 1.558 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 18 of the event schedule, Middaugh did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Middaugh ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
