After advancing directly to the championship game, Jacqueline Harrison (Mississauga, ON) lost 7-4 to Rachel Homan (Ottawa, ON) in the Final of the Ontario Scotties, held January 27 - February 5, 2017 in Cobourg, Ontario.

Harrison finished 6-1 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Harrison lost 8-6 to Julie Tippin (Woodstock, ON), then responded with a 6-5 win over Homan. Harrison won 10-3 against Megan Balsdon (Mississauga, ON), then won 6-3 against Cathy Auld (Dundas, ON) and 7-5 against Sherry Middaugh (Coldwater, ON). Harrison won 7-4 against Allison Flaxey (Brampton, ON), then won 6-5 against Heather Heggestad (Thornhill, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Ontario Scotties, Harrison take home 17.078 world rankings points. Harrison move up 1 spots after posting a net gain of 14.828 points improving upon their best results so far this season, ranking 20th overall with 329.715 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Harrison ranks 13th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 184.336 points earned so far this season.
