After advancing directly to the championship game, Jacqueline Harrison (Mississauga, ON) lost 7-4 to Rachel Homan (Ottawa, ON) in the Final of the Ontario Scotties, held January 27 - February 5, 2017 in Cobourg, Ontario.
 
Harrison finished 6-1 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Harrison lost 8-6 to Julie Tippin (Woodstock, ON), then responded with a 6-5 win over Homan. Harrison won 10-3 against Megan Balsdon (Mississauga, ON), then won 6-3 against Cathy Auld (Dundas, ON) and 7-5 against Sherry Middaugh (Coldwater, ON). Harrison won 7-4 against Allison Flaxey (Brampton, ON), then won 6-5 against Heather Heggestad (Thornhill, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Ontario Scotties, Harrison take home 17.078 world rankings points.
