Lindsay Hudyma (Vancouver, BC) finished 3-2 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Hudyma lost 10-9 to Kayte Gyles (Surrey, BC), droppimg another game, 11-5 to Diane Gushulak (New Wesstminster, BC) where Hudyma responded with a 7-6 win over Gyles. Hudyma won 7-3 against Kim Slattery (Vernon, BC), then won 4-3 against Gushulak in their final qualifying round match.

Hudyma earned 5.419 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the BC Scotties - Open Event #1. For week 16 of the event schedule, Hudyma did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Hudyma ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
