Skrlik finished 6-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Skrlik defeated Abby Marks (Edmonton, AB) 10-3, then won 12-3 against McKenna Jones (Medicine Hat, AB) and 8-3 against Jessica Wytrychowski (Calgary, AB). Skrlik won 6-5 against DeJong, then won 7-5 against Ashton Simard (Edmonton, AB). Skrlik went on to lose 6-3 against Kristen Streifel (Edmonton, AB). Skrlik responded with a 5-4 win over Selena Sturmay (Calgary, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
