Koe finished 8-3 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Koe defeated Jean-Michel Menard (Levis, QC) 7-5, then won 6-4 against Brad Jacobs (Sault Ste Marie, NONT) and 5-4 against Glenn Howard (Toronto, ON). Koe went on to lose 5-4 against John Morris (Vernon, BC). Koe responded with a 8-5 win over Jamie Murphy (Halifax, NS). Koe went on to lose 6-4 against Brendan Bottcher (Edmonton, AB). Koe responded with a 8-7 win over Adam Casey (Regina, SK). Koe won 8-6 against Jamie Koe (Yellowknife, NT), then won 6-3 against Mike McEwen (Winnipeg, MB). Koe went on to lose 7-6 against Gushue. Koe responded with a 7-6 win over Mike Kennedy (Fredericton, NB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Tim Hortons Brier, Koe take home 65.652 world rankings points. For week 30 of the event schedule, Koe did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Koe ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
