Jacobs went on to lose 7-5 against Brad Gushue (St. Johns, NL). Jacobs responded with a 6-5 win over Mike Kennedy (Fredericton, NB). Jacobs went on to lose 6-5 against Mike McEwen (Winnipeg, MB). Jacobs responded with a 8-5 win over Adam Casey (Regina, SK). Jacobs won 6-5 against Brendan Bottcher (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.

Jacobs earned 35.810 world rankings points for their Top 4 finish in the Tim Hortons Brier. For week 30 of the event schedule, Jacobs did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
