Homan finished 10-1 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Homan defeated Chelsea Carey (Calgary, CAN) 7-5, then won 9-3 against Marla Mallett (Maple Ridge, BC) and 8-3 against Robyn MacPhee (Charlottetown, PEI). Homan won 6-4 against Shannon Kleibrink (Okotoks, AB), then won 9-3 against Mary Mattatall (Windsor, NS) and 7-4 against Kerry Galusha (Yellowknife, NT). Homan won 7-4 against Penny Barker (Moose Jaw, SK), then won 6-3 against Stacie Curtis (St. Johns, NL) and 7-6 against Krista McCarville (Thunder Bay, NONT). Homan won 5-1 against Eve Belisle (Montreal, QC). Homan went on to lose 9-5 against Englot in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Scotties Tournament of Hearts Championship title, Homan earned 60.515 world rankings points. For week 28 of the event schedule, Homan did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Homan ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
