Homan won 6-4 against Shannon Kleibrink (Okotoks, AB), then won 9-3 against Mary Mattatall (Windsor, NS) and 7-4 against Kerry Galusha (Yellowknife, NT). Homan won 7-4 against Penny Barker (Moose Jaw, SK), then won 6-3 against Stacie Curtis (St. Johns, NL) and 7-6 against Krista McCarville (Thunder Bay, NONT). Homan won 5-1 against Eve Belisle (Montreal, QC). Homan went on to lose 9-5 against Englot in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Scotties Tournament of Hearts Championship title, Homan earned 60.515 world rankings points.
