Baksheeva went on to lose 8-3 against Kristen Streifel (Edmonton, CAN). Baksheeva responded with a 8-1 win over Dilsat Yildiz (Eruzurum, TUR). Baksheeva won 8-7 against Sophie Jackson (Stirling, SCO), then won 4-3 against Min Ji Kim (Songhyeon, KOR) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Baksheeva earned 2.918 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins.
