Tardi won 9-2 against Marco Onnis (Trentino, ITA). Tardi went on to lose 6-2 against Andrew Stopera (Blaine, USA). Tardi responded with a 8-5 win over Magnus Ramsfjell (Jar, NOR). Tardi won 8-3 against Jan Hess (Zug, SUI), then won 7-5 against Ugurcan Karagoz (Eruzurum, TUR). Tardi went on to lose 9-8 against Cameron Bryce (Stirling, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.
