Retornaz went on to lose 6-4 against Peter De Cruz (Geneva, SUI). Retornaz lost 6-2 to David Murdoch (Lockerbie, SCO). Retornaz lost 9-2 to Brad Gushue (St. John's, CAN). Retornaz lost 7-5 to Steffen Walstad (Oslo, NOR) in their final qualifying round match.

Retornaz earned 10.374 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 34 of the event schedule, Retornaz did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Retornaz ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
