Anna Kubeskova (Prague, CZE) finished 5-6 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kubeskova defeated Lene Nielsen (Hvidovre, DEN) 6-5, then won 7-3 against Nina Roth (Blaine, USA) and 8-7 against Bingyu Wang (Harbin, CHN). Kubeskova went on to lose 9-7 against Anna Sidorova (Moscow, RUS). Kubeskova lost 8-6 to Diana Gaspari (Cortina d'Ampezzo, ITA). Kubeskova lost 10-4 to Anna Hasselborg (Stockholm, SWE) where Kubeskova responded with a 10-7 win over Alina Paetz (Zurich, SUI). Kubeskova went on to lose 10-3 against EunJung Kim (Uiseong, KOR). Kubeskova lost 9-3 to Rachel Homan (Ottawa, CAN) where Kubeskova responded with a 5-3 win over Daniela Jentsch (Fuessen, GER). Kubeskova went on to lose 7-6 against Eve Muirhead (Stirling, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.

Kubeskova earned 13.383 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 32 of the event schedule, Kubeskova did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Kubeskova ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
