Nielsen lost 8-7 to EunJung Kim (Uiseong, KOR). Nielsen lost 7-2 to Eve Muirhead (Stirling, SCO). Nielsen lost 7-6 to Nina Roth (Blaine, USA). Nielsen lost 7-5 to Bingyu Wang (Harbin, CHN). Nielsen lost 8-6 to Anna Sidorova (Moscow, RUS). Nielsen lost 9-5 to Daniela Jentsch (Fuessen, GER). Nielsen lost 8-4 to Rachel Homan (Ottawa, CAN) where Nielsen responded with a 8-7 win over Diana Gaspari (Cortina d'Ampezzo, ITA) in their final qualifying round match.

Nielsen earned 2.677 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 32 of the event schedule, Nielsen did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Nielsen ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
