Jentsch went on to lose 6-4 against Anna Hasselborg (Stockholm, SWE). Jentsch responded with a 10-7 win over Bingyu Wang (Harbin, CHN). Jentsch went on to lose 8-4 against Anna Sidorova (Moscow, RUS). Jentsch responded with a 7-5 win over Diana Gaspari (Cortina d'Ampezzo, ITA). Jentsch won 6-4 against Nina Roth (Blaine, USA), then won 9-5 against Lene Nielsen (Hvidovre, DEN). Jentsch went on to lose 7-2 against Eve Muirhead (Stirling, SCO). Jentsch lost 5-3 to Anna Kubeskova (Prague, CZE) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Jentsch earned 13.383 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins.
