Herndier won 7-5 against Kelly Shimizu (Richmond, BC), then won 8-6 against Kim Slattery (Vernon, BC) and 9-2 against Kayte Gyles (Surrey, BC) in their final qualifying round match.

Herndier earned 5.419 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the BC Scotties - Open Event #2, moving up 111 spots the World Ranking Standings into 196th place overall with 5.419 total points. Herndier ranks 154th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 5.419 points earned so far this season.
